Vanilla Creme' Cheese Cake.... and my excuse...

Well... here's my excuse: I took many, MANY pictures during the making of this Vanilla Creme' Cheese cake. And my camera had to be a doo-doo and erase them all, and NOT register that they were taken. I did take more pictures after I made it, but I'm afraid you missed the making... But, I still will show you the recipe, and tell you how to make it.

Ingredients:

1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter(a whole stick)
2 egg whites
1 whole egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Nutella
Cream Cheese Icing (cookie icing actually works well)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Grease and flour 9x9 inch pan or line muffin pan with paper liners
3. In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Stir in Vanilla. Beat in the eggs, one at a time-     alternating with the flour/baking powder mixture.
4. Stir in milk slowly, constantly mixing, until butter is smooth.
5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean
6. Turn over onto platter and dirty ice the top of the cake. (Dirty ice is when you spread icing on the cake very thickly).
7. Drizzle icing on to the sides of the cake, as seen in picture.
8. Get a chopstick, a toothpick, or something that can be used to dab nutella on to the cake. Put some Nutella on the end of your sharp object, and make dots along the top of the cake, until it has made a bunch of little dots everywhere. Take a lot of pictures! Enjoy!

Hittin' it up Japanese Style!

Hiya! Greetings from an average teenager! I decided to hit it up Japanese style, so I made this Hello Kitty bento box! You probably want to have a bento box to start with, but this is a really fun... (and i'm not sayin easy)... dinner to make. Here are some handy things you might want to purchase prior to making this:

A hello kitty rice mold (for the head)
A seaweed puncher(this is kind of optional, it's for the face)
A bento box

Just whip up an egg in a cup, add any color food coloring, and then fry it on the pan like a crepe, but thicker and without flour. This will be used as the kimono. You might want to go on YouTube for a video on how this is done, because I'm afraid I'm not the best at it... (it took me FOREVER to make this one). Then you take some colorful vegetables and cut them up, putting them on some lettuce on the bottom of the bento box. Cook some white sticky rice, let it cool, and press it into the mold. Lay it on the bottom of the box, like in my picture. Then just form a body and arms made out of rice, and place them together in the box, along with the head. Put the kimono (if you've figured out how to make it) on top of the body... don't worry about legs. Then cut some vegetables and maybe some cheese, and decorate your Hello Kitty! Simple enough right? Heh-Heh... P.S., if you don't like taking directions, you can just look at the picture and figure out how to make it... good luck with that! Hee-Hee!

Hmmhmm, good.

Here is a homemade breakfast featuring pancakes and fruit. There is a cute little catarpillar and a Mickey Mouse that I made, too! Some of the pancakes I made have pecans sprinkled on the bottom, and they are hmm-hmm good! Here is the recipe for the pancakes...

Ingredients:

2. cups flour
2. cups milk
2. eggs
2. Tbsp. Oil
2. scant tsp. salt
2. Tbsp. baking powder

Directions:

Stir gently, leaving small lumps in the batter. Spoon on to pancake pan, making it desired thickness. (Optional) You can sprinkle chopped pecans onto the pancakes while they are cooking...( it makes them really yummy). Flip once, or until they are golden brown. Top with some syrup, nutella, peanut butter, you know, whatever tickles your peach! Oh, and speaking of peaches, fruit tastes pretty darn good on pancakes! Well, Enjoy!
